Kristin Fisher has joined the CNN Space and Defense Correspondent team on July 20, 2021. In her position as the Space and Defence Correspondent at CNN, she's responsible for covering all aspects of space, from NASA and its recently created Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the growth and advent of tourism to space. Kristin's parents are both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now been a White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the both the Biden and Trump administrations regarding space-related issues. During that time, she was also a reporter covering impeachment proceedings for the president, the 2020 Presidential campaign as well as efforts of two administrations to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. Former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan for a restricted trip. Kristin has spent more than a decade in the TV industry.
